Introduction
Aachen lies right on the border where Belgium, Holland and Germany meet, making it Germany's most westerly city. It is one of the Thalys train stops out of Brussels Sud and Paris, and is also well linked to Germany's own rail network with regular ICE and IC services to Cologne, Frankfurt, Mönchengladbach, Hannover, Berlin and Liège.
