Introduction
The town's railway station lies just 0.5km from the centre to the south-east and is therefore easily accessible on foot. There are direct trains to Binche from Brussels as well as from Brussels Airport; this journey normally takes around one and a half hours. If you want to take a train from Mons (journey time: 40min) or Namur (journey time: 1h10min) you will have to change at La Louvière Sud.There are also good bus services that connect Binche to the surrounding areas as well as to bigger towns and cities. AS ever, these services tend to take longer but often work out more cost-efficient for the frugal traveller.
