Introduction
Dessau-Rosslau is served by both Dessau Hauptbahnhof (Main station) to the south of the Elbe river and Rosslau station to the north of it. Dessau station is the larger of the two and has intercity as well as local services running on a regular basis. It lies to the north east of Dessau and is very convenient for the Tierpark (Zoo) the main entrance of which is just a short walk away.
