Introduction
Dieppe is a small town on the north-western coast of France, not directly connected to the country's motorway network, but one lying on the N25 main road which leads to the A28 motorway. There are pleasant driving roads along the coast to other nearby coastal towns and villages. The town's nearest airport with international connections is Beauvais-Tillé Airport approximately 110km away. There is a ferry service in operation between Dieppe and Newhaven in England, which leaves twice daily in both directions including weekends, and takes 4 hours. This is a DFDS Seaways service, and is an easy and relaxed way of arriving from/travelling to England.
The railway infrastructure around Dieppe is decent enough; trains leave frequently along the Rouen-Rive-Droite to Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie route. From Rouen-Rive-Droite there are onward connections to Paris St Lazare.
