Introduction
For a city of only 200,000 or so inhabitants, Kassell is lucky to boast its own (albeit it very small) international airport Kassel Calden Airport approximately 20km outside the centre. It also lies on the A7, A49 and A44 motorways and benefits from high speed connections on the Hanover-Würzburg route as well as routes to Stuttgart (3hrs) and Berlin (2hrs 45mins) amongst others, which stop at Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe station.Stations in Kassel
