Introduction
Located on the western fringe of France on the Bay of Biscay, Le Croisic is a coastal town through and through.Nantes airport with its comprehensive services across Europe is the closest major one to Le Croisic at about 90km away. Low-cost carriers favour this airport and as such there are many great deals to this part of France.
Le Croisic's station is on the line to Nantes (1hr) and so benefits from the direct TGV connection from there to Le Mans (1hr15m) and to Paris Monteparnasse (2hrs).
In terms of the road network, Le Croisic really is on the fringe of the country and as such is somewhat out on a limb. The motorway is a good 30minute drive away along the D213 towards Trignac. Nantes is the next major town and lies just under 90km away (1hr15m); for comparisons sake, Le Mans is 265km away and Paris 465km.
