Introduction
Morlaix is a small town in the far west of France, just 15km from the port town of Roscoff with its ferry terminal. It's some distance to the nearest motorway from the town, with Rennes having the closest links to the main french road infrastructure and that is nearly 200km to the east.By rail, there are good connections to other cities from Morlaix station which lies on the Paris Montparnasse (4hrs) to Brest (35min) rail line with a branch off to Roscoff. This branch is also served by a coach service (route 23). The town even has its own airport Morlaix Ploujean Airport which has limited scheduled flights.
