Introduction

Naumburg lies in eastern-central Germany 40km to the south-west of Leipzig and a short drive off the A9 motorway which runs direct to Berlin.

Though it has a relatively small station, Naumburg is connected to the country's high speed rail network via services Hamburg, Dresden, Munich and Innsbruck amongst other cities. There are also regional services with connections to towns such as Weimar, Erfurt, Jena and Halle.
