Introduction

Schwerin lies in northern Germany amongst a series of picturesque lakes. Being a large city of some 100,000 people, it is very well connected to the motorway and rail networks. The city is easily accessible via the A14 motorway, whilst Hamburg Main Station is less than 1 hour by a direct service.

Airports in Lübeck and Hamburg are reasonably easy to travel from to Schwerin, each being approximately 1.5 hours away.
