Introduction
Siegburg lies in the west of Germany just under 10km north east of Bonn and, conveniently for the motorist, right between the A3 and A560 motorways. Despite its population of only about 40,000 Siegburg benefits from having a station which lies on the main ICE line connecting north and south Germany. The Cologne-Bonn airport is also easily accessible via the S=Bahn (Tram) as is Cologne itself.ICE services connect the town with Hamburg, Munich, Basel, Frankfurt and Amsterdam amongst other destinations.
