Size really doesn't matter here though as the market is fantastic even if it were only the 2nd largest outside of Germany. It offers a large range of traditional German food and drink, including Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds and the expected array of alcoholic drinks to keep things nice and merry including gluhwein and weissbeer.
If you're travelling through Birmingham at this time of year on your rail journey this is a great reason to jump off the train and take a festive break.
